Less to look after, by design
Plenty of small-company websites stack a theme from one vendor on top of add-ons from a dozen more, each changing whenever its maker feels like it. Sooner or later two of them clash and something on the page breaks. A hand-coded site is just a few plain files, with no login screen and no database. Very little can work loose, so your monthly fee pays for speed and your edits rather than repairs.

Send it by text or email. Saturday hours, a new rate, a shot of the deck you finished last week: that's all covered. If a request turns into a new page, you'll get a number first. Every extra is listed on the pricing page.
Still yours, all of it
What the plan buys is hosting and upkeep. Ownership was never part of the deal: the domain is in your company's name and the files belong to you. Want to move? We'll pack it up and pass it along.

Which changes does the plan cover?
The routine stuff: holiday hours, a new price, swapping a photo, adding someone to the team page, a closing notice for a snow day. Bigger jobs, such as a whole new page, get quoted first.
Who notices if the site stops working?
The monitor flags it to us, usually before anyone else sees it, and we sort it out. With only a few plain files and no database underneath, it rarely happens.
Will you take over a site another company made?
As a rule, no. These plans are set up for sites we code ourselves. If yours is on a site builder or a theme, Roger can help you decide whether fixing it or replacing it makes more sense.
